Abstract

This study explores the integration of cultural preservation and creative economy development through community-based cultural activities, highlighting their impact on social, economic, and cultural sustainability. Local initiatives, including traditional craft revitalization, ecotourism programs, and heritage festivals, are examined for their ability to generate income, foster entrepreneurship, and strengthen community identity. The research emphasizes the importance of strategic coordination, where policy support, participatory governance, and sustainable practices collectively enhance creative outputs and long-term community resilience. Innovation-driven approaches, such as digitalization of traditional knowledge and collaborative cultural networks, are shown to expand market reach while maintaining authenticity. Findings reveal that these integrated strategies not only preserve cultural heritage but also serve as engines for inclusive economic growth, skill development, and resilient creative ecosystems. The study provides practical insights for policymakers, cultural organizations, and local communities seeking to leverage cultural assets for sustainable socio-economic development, demonstrating that community-based cultural programs can simultaneously achieve cultural preservation and economic vitality.
