Devosia: Community Outreach Journal of Indonesian Movement is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works in the field of Community Development and Community Studies. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to disseminate original research articles, theoretical studies, systematic literature reviews, and empirical research that contribute to the advancement of knowledge on community development, community dynamics, social transformation, participatory governance, and sustainable societal development.
The journal welcomes manuscripts that examine community-related issues from multidisciplinary perspectives within the social sciences, provided that they remain directly connected to the scientific domain of Community Development and Community Studies. Areas of interest include community empowerment, social capital, public participation, community governance, local institutions, community resilience, social innovation, community-based public policy, citizenship, rural and urban community development, digital communities, environmental sustainability from a community perspective, and indigenous communities and local wisdom. Every manuscript should demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and practical relevance to the development of community-based knowledge and policy.
