About the Journal
Devosia: Community Outreach Journal of Indonesian Movement is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works in the field of community service and community-based engagement. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and community activists to publish original articles, applied research, program reports, best practices, and critical evaluations that demonstrate meaningful contributions to community empowerment and social development.
Devosia welcomes manuscripts derived from multidisciplinary perspectives, including education, public health, economics and entrepreneurship, agriculture, technology transfer, environmental sustainability, disaster mitigation, public policy, social innovation, cultural preservation, gender and community development, digital literacy, and other community-based initiatives. All submissions must demonstrate academic rigor, originality, practical relevance, and measurable community impact.
Committed to the principles of open access and academic inclusivity, Devosia applies a no-article-processing-charge (no-APC) policy, ensuring that authors are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the publication process. This policy is intended to remove financial barriers and encourage broad participation from contributors representing diverse institutions, disciplines, and community engagement traditions.
Devosia publishes four issues per year—in January, April, July, and October—and implements a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and relevance of published works. Through continuous publication and ethical scholarly practices, Devosia: Community Outreach Journal of Indonesian Movement aims to strengthen academic discourse on community outreach and contribute to the advancement of sustainable, innovative, and impactful solutions to real-world societal challenges at local, national, and international levels.
