Peer Review Process
All authors submitting manuscripts to Resocia: International Journal of Applied Research and Innovation are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance, which is available for download on the journal’s official website. This statement serves as formal confirmation of the authors’ commitment to ethical standards, research integrity, and responsible publication practices. The document is not a manuscript template; therefore, all submissions must strictly comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines.
Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial process begins with an initial screening conducted by the editorial team. At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for:
-
Completeness of submission
-
Compliance with formatting and submission requirements
-
Plagiarism screening
-
Alignment with the journal’s focus and scope on applied research and innovation across diverse academic and scientific fields
Only manuscripts that meet these criteria will proceed to the peer-review stage.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are reviewed through a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and confidentiality. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
-
Originality, novelty, and contribution to applied research and innovation
-
Rigor and appropriateness of the research design, theoretical or conceptual framework, and analytical methods
-
Clarity, coherence, and logical organization of the manuscript
-
Relevance to the aims, focus, and scope of the journal
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations, the editorial board may issue one of the following decisions:
-
Accept
-
Accept with minor revisions
-
Request major revisions
-
Reject
Authors requested to revise their manuscripts will be given a specified timeframe to submit a revised version, accompanied by a point-by-point response letter addressing each reviewer’s comment.
Editorial Commitment
The editorial team of Resocia is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and efficiency throughout the editorial and peer-review process. Authors may contact the editorial office at any stage to request updates or clarification regarding the status of their submission.
