Peer Review Process

All authors submitting manuscripts to Mercatura Lumina: Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance, which is available for download on the journal’s official website. This statement serves as formal confirmation of the authors’ commitment to ethical standards, academic integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing. The Statement of Ethical Compliance is not a manuscript template; therefore, all submissions must strictly adhere to the journal’s Author Guidelines.

Initial Editorial Screening

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for correction or declined prior to peer review.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening proceed to the peer review stage. Mercatura Lumina applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and academic fairness.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in business, management, entrepreneurship, tourism, or relevant interdisciplinary fields.

  • Clarity, coherence, and logical organization of the manuscript

Editorial Decisions
