Focus and Scope

Corpus: International Journal of Law and Political Authority is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works in the fields of law, governance, and political authority. The journal serves as an international platform for researchers, academics, legal practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original empirical studies, theoretical analyses, normative research, and critical reviews that address contemporary legal and political challenges at both national and global levels.

Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Indonesian and must demonstrate academic rigor, originality, and relevance to issues of law, government, and political power. The scope of Corpus includes, but is not limited to, constitutional law, administrative law, criminal law, civil law, international law, human rights law, legal philosophy, legal policy, public administration, political institutions, public governance, political theory, comparative law and politics, electoral studies, decentralization, and state–society relations.

By maintaining a strong focus on legal and political studies, Corpus aims to strengthen scholarly discourse on the rule of law, democratic governance, state authority, and public accountability. The journal seeks to promote evidence-based legal and political research, encourage critical analysis of governance practices, and contribute to the development of effective, just, and responsive legal and political systems at local, national, and international levels.
